John was my cousin, and I will always remember his kind heart. He and his wife Terry were very special people! I will always be grateful to them for also giving me a wonderful relative nd special person in my life, their son John. Love to John and his family, we will pray for your dad.

I remember trips to Dairy Barn and ice cream served in soup bowls. I remember car rides at night and having the headlights momentarily switched off to hear the kids scream in delight and Aunt Terry protest strenuously. I remember beautiful fireplaces and home additions, talk of racial equality, home movies that we still enjoy, beautiful photographs and too much more to write here. Mostly, I remember a gentle man with a big heart, a model of humility. His love and gentleness are embedded in my heart. He is missed already.

My uncle was gentle, funny, supportive and always uncomplaining. He had the gift of quiet sense of humor. Whenever you needed him he was there. I loved him deeply from my first memories of him. I will love him deeply forever. REST ALWAYS IN PEACE my dear Uncle John
