Lilly Milani, 85, of Astoria, New York passed away at home on Monday, October 29, 2018. She was born in the Bronx, and moved to Astoria after her marriage to Poli on December 6, 1958. She devoted all of her time and energy to caring for her family ( she loved to clean), and her stories always brought a smile to your face. Her favorite pastime was playing Bingo, and she loved to walk on Steinway Street. In addition to being survived by her loving husband, Poli, of almost 60 years, she is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Ramona and Scott Kolarik and Paula and John Maniaci, and her three grandchildren, Nicole, Geena and Lauren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Paula, her niece and nephews and their families and her best friends, Betty and Mary. She was pre-deceased by her best friend, Wee. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
We’ll always Remember
That special smile
that caring heart.
That warm embrace
you always gave us.
You being there
for dad and us,
through good and bad times
no matter what.
We’ll always remember
you mom because
there’ll never be anyone
to replace you in our hearts.
And the love we will always
have for you.
