Pasquale Monno aka Pat was called safely home on Saturday August 12. Born and raised in Queens. Pat was the son of the late Giovanni and Giuseppina ( Crispino ) Monno. He was a loving husband, father,  grandfather, uncle, and friend. Pat loved his family especially his grandchildren. He was a avid gardener planting all types of  vegetables. Pat also loved to cook and bake cakes for everyone’s birthday. He volunteered at the Salvation Army and the  food pantry were he packed bags of food. He was a member of more than one senior center in Astoria. Pat was always thinking about how to help others and his community. He is the true definition of a gentleman. Pat leaves to cherish his memory two daughters , four grandchildren numerous extended family members and friends. Memorial contributions in Pat’s name can be made to the St. Jude Children Research  Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
