For 66 years it has been my honor to have called you my friend. I do know that one day we, along with the crowd, will meet again at the "Sugar Bowl.

Bob, We spent many fun-filled hours at St Joe’s gym back in the day. Rest easy I hope there are sports in Heaven so you can help a mean clock or scorebook.

RIP Mr. Farrell. Thank you for all you did for me and hundreds of other kids . Your inert ability to make the twelfth man feel as much a part of a team as the MVP was amazing and unappreciated at the time . Your kindness , fairness and sense of humor will never be forgotten by anyone who played for you . I’m so glad I got to speak with you in December. I know you’ll be with some of those other St.Joe legendary coaches up there hope they don’t “break your shoes” upon arrival !! Godspeed good man !

Coach Bob Farrell
The season’s over, We did alright
Some talented players,
Some with a little fight.
But that’s okay,
when it’s focused on
The filed or court,
With better play.
I’ll always remember how
You had your team pray
A Hail Mary before
The tip off or any play.
I hope to see you
on a field or court,
In heaven where youngsters
Need a coach to sort
The many things they face
To be a team
that plays successfully.
Our Lady of Victory
Pray for Us
