Rod you have been a part of Aunt Betty's life for most of my life and have been there for everything! You have seen all of us grow up ourselves and have families, who went on to have families. You have seen the good, the bad and the ugly! You were there through the taking care of Grandma, the loss of her sister & two brothers, along with all the other family changes & losses, you supported Betty and was always by her side all these years. You and Betty had such a tight friendship & a rare 40 plus year relationship that has outlasted most marriages! I guess one of the secrets was a mutual respect and sense of humor! We all know you both have a great sense of humor! As you started to fail, Betty was at your side. You were a very lucky man to have such a wonderful woman take such good care of you for such long time. I know every time I go to Boulevard Gardens, your spirit will be sitting on a bench near the stairs of the main entrance! Bye Rod, You will be missed! Love, One of the nieces, Claire
