Silvio Venerando Nacinovic
November 14, 1931 – January 22, 2023
Silvio Nacinovic, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2023 from his home in Astoria, Queens, New York.
He was born on November 14, 1931 in a small town of the former Yugoslavia now known as Croatia. His parents were Maria and Vladimir Nacinovic, his brothers Edo and Vlado.
He was a loving husband to wife Amalia and the greatest father to daughters Jenny and Silvana. Silvio was a sweet, loving and gentle man. He will be remembered for his many hobbies of cooking, gardening, making wine, carpentry, accordion playing and bicycling. He was a champion bicyclist in his hometown of Croatia. He was a long time member of the Rudar Miners Club, participated in many events throughout the years and made many best friends whom he adored and cherished. His career as a carpenter with Concord Metal Storefront earned him the respect and admiration of all his colleagues and endured bonds of many great friendships.
He always had a great smile, big heart and gentle soul. He was supportive and caring gentleman wanting to make friends with everyone. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
