In the fields of Ballyfermot, Stan would make a lifelong impression on me as a young boy where he ran daily while visiting friends and family which would lead to a whole new future I could only have imagined had our paths not crossed. Stan and I sang together in the Most Precious Blood parish choir back around 1999/2000 or so. While I didn’t know him well, I treasured moments talking with him about Irish music, history, and faith and life in general. He was a sweet, gentle man. God rest him.
